About this Website
I have been planning to make this website for a long time. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a place to put my work online so that I can easily direct people to it? Yes, that would be nice.
The primary aim of this website is for it to be a portfolio of my web design (coming soon) and photography. I like to do projects of various kinds, so those are here too. I also plan on making some digital artwork available soon—either icons or something like icons. Finally, I have been known to write software, and so that may end up here as well
Please note that some sections of this website, such as the Walla Walla Every Day project or my blog look like they are from a different website. That’s because they were different websites (they even have their own “about” pages). I will eventually be integrating them into the new design.
Colophon
I take pride in my code. Every HTML tag on this site was written by hand using the lovely TextMate. Web standards make me happy and so does leaving out superfluous code. With HTML 4.01 I get the best of both worlds.
I use Lightroom for organizing and editing photos. This amazing software impresses me by running plenty fast on my 12" PowerBook. It has restored a sense of child-like wonder to my life.
